The Oxford Scavenger Hunt tested students’ street smarts and ingenuity yesterday, as they were asked to perform such feats as taking a selfie with a college porter, finding the largest possible item they could get for £1, taking a photo with at least 1,000 books in it, and getting their hands on a Starbucks cup named for a Harry Potter character. Congratulations and much respect to the Kebab Squad, who stormed to victory with 20 out of 22 deeds done.
Back at the Manor, students enjoyed football (‘passionately’ coached by our rather competitive House Dean Alex) and yoga in the summer sun ―and then something a little different: under the expert tutelage of artist and House Dean Zoe, they learned how to fashion creations both abstract and functional from chicken-wire. Parents should expect some rather inventive souvenirs from students’ time at ORA!
