The whole ORA team here at Yarnton Manor is excitedly gearing up to receive students and parents this afternoon. Incoming students are about to embark on a unique summer experience at Yarnton Manor, Oxford Royale Academy’s very own 17th-century manor house. They will be guided, challenged and inspired by our world-class team of teachers, as they set about gaining New Perspectives on subjects as diverse as Experimental Psychology, Politics and International Relations, and Mandarin Chinese.
Then, when lessons are done each day, our friendly and supportive team of Junior Deans and Counsellors will lead students in a fantastic range of excursions and social activities. Particular events to look forward to this Session are trips to London to take in the skyline from the London Eye, and come face-to-face with creatures of the deep at the London Aquarium; scavenger hunts and historical tours in the city of Oxford; an excursion to the monumental Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill; and mid-session and graduation parties in the themes of Pre-Historic Earth and Vintage Circus.
Alongside all this, students can be sure that they will forge lasting friendships and connections with their classmates. Living and learning so closely with one another will be the ideal opportunity for students to make intellectual and personal bonds to carry with them into future studies and experiences.
