After such a brilliant night in London last night watching the ‘School of Rock’, it began to dawn on the students that their time with us here at ORA is coming to a close. With only one day left with all their new life long friends, everyone was determined to make the most of their time together.
Students, parents and staff gathered in the stunning old Oxford University Examination Hall, welcomed by Programme Director, Ron Wilder. Ron gave a congratulatory speech informing the parents of just how brilliant this group has been to work with, displaying incredible levels of diligence and effort. The students have all achieved so much in their short time with us and we are certain they are far more equipped to face the next step. The students were called up individually to achieve their graduation scrolls, including their Programme Reviews, highlighting the most memorable experiences of their stay.
After the formalities were complete, the students were ready for their final blow out ‘1950’s’ themed party all together at St Catherine’s College. The students were greeted with giant props, a themed marquee and even a surf simulator. After eating to their heart’s content, the students seized the opportunity to jive together for the last time with their friends who will soon be scattered all over the globe! Queen’s will miss their energy around the College, and we very much hope to see everyone again next summer!
