Students swapped Oxford’s beautiful spires for the bustling capital city of London. Students took full advantage of the chance to experience a full day in the city by embarking on a walking tour passing the very best of London’s world famous and historic attractions. Students gained glimpses of royal palaces, explored narrow cobbled streets and saw the beautiful Houses of Parliament complete with Big Ben.
Students learnt about a mother, a daughter, and three possible fathers as they took a trip to the West End see the ultimate feel good show, ‘Mama-Mia’. Over 60 million people worldwide have fallen in love with the characters, the story and most of all the music. The story telling magic of ABBA’s timeless classic songs only propels this love tale of laughter, love and friendship and ensures that the audience really is having the time of their lives!
When all was said and done, the students hopped on the bus to return home. It was very evident that the students were head over heels for ABBA as the singing continued the whole way home recounting the evening’s musical highlights.
Students are unbelievably excited for tomorrow night’s ‘Carnival’ themed graduation party at St Catherine’s College after the last one was such a hit!
