Here at Queen’s College in Oxford, we are keenly awaiting the arrival of our first ORA students this summer. Queen’s is one the oldest and most central colleges, located right on the High Street in the bustling and vibrant city centre. Students will be encouraged to explore and make them self at home in the 14th-century college grounds. Our world-class teaching team will intellectually stimulate, guide and challenge the students to Broaden their Horizons, accelerate their business knowledge on our Business and Enterprise Programme or discover and develop key life skills on our Global Leadership Programme.
After morning lessons, students will be offered the chance to engage in a broad range of extra-curricular activities alongside an array of excursions to fill their afternoons and optimise their short stay with us. Highlights of the trip include visits to Stratford-Upon-Avon, the birthplace of the famous writer, William Shakespeare, and an evening excursion to see Mamma Mia! the Musical in London. Students will visit Oxford’s main attractions such as the Ashmolean Museum and the Heritage site of Oxford Castle in addition to many student’s favourite activity, punting along the river.
Students undoubtedly forge long lasting friendships with their classmates during their time at ORA. By both living and studying together students will be able to build real connections with their peers both academically and personally. Furthermore, these bonds will ensure students feel right at home here at Queen’s College.
