The students staying at St Peter’s College have been working diligently throughout their time here. Their hard work has paid off as the students join together to celebrate the culmination of their work, graduation. The ceremony took place in the St Peter’s’ College Chapel, where students received a reassuring speech from Bob Barnes about their time with ORA, reminding them that there is always the opportunity to come back next year. Students received their individual Programme Review, highlighting their time and thanking them for their exemplary behaviour, alongside their fantastic work ethic. Furthermore, Bob reiterated that students need to stay in touch, as we are always interested in our old alumni’s activities.
Student then darted off to get ready for the ‘Carnivale’ themed graduation ball, welcoming students from St Catherine’s College right here too St Peter’s College. The graduation parties are always an emotional affair as the students have forged such special friendships, having lived, studied and played together continuously. The bond between the students is remarkable, you would never know they have only known each other two short weeks.
Students were greeted with a sumptuous display of sweet treats, mouth-watering mock-tails and a variety of fun attractions including a bucking bronco! Once again the student favourite was the dance floor, bogeying away late into the evening with their new lifelong friends. The students will be sorely missed and we hope to see many returns again next year for another fantastic week and to rekindle friendships from this summer.
