After such fantastic performances at ORA’s Got Talent, it began to dawn on students that their time with us here at ORA is drawing to an end. After their last full day of lessons and afternoon workshop, the students prepared themselves for their graduation ceremony.
The ceremony took place in the St Peter’s’ College Chapel, where students received a reassuring speech form Bob Barnes about their time with ORA, reminding them that there is always the opportunity to come back next year. Students received their individual Programme Review, highlighting their time and thanking them for their exemplary behaviour, alongside their fantastic work ethic. Furthermore, Bob reiterated that students need to stay in touch, as we are always interested in our old alumni’s activities.
Students then darted off to their rooms to get ready for the ‘Wizard School’ themed graduation ball, welcoming students from St Hughes right here at St Peter’s College. The graduation parties are always emotional as students become so close over such a short period of time. Living, studying and playing together makes the students feel as though they’ve known each other far longer than just the two weeks they’ve spent together.
Students were allowed to stay up later than usual to make the most of their last night all together dancing away in the marquee until past midnight.
