Wednesday at St Peter’s College was particularly studious, with high levels of academic success! Student’s engagement in the classroom continues to grow rapidly. The level of camaraderie the students are building between one another through living, studying and learning together is really something to be admired in such a short space of time.
Many of the students opted to spend their free time further exploring the city with their friends. A large contingent chose to return to Christ Church Meadows and bathe in the beautiful British summer sun.
The weather blessed the outdoor theatre in Wadham College where students observed William Shakespeare’s play ‘Much Ado About Nothing’. The 16th-century comedy was a real cultural treat particularly as many students had yet to experience the wonders of Shakespearean drama.
As evening fell students partook in a range of in college activities. Drama workshop and sports activities allowed more energetic pupils to blow off some steam and release their energy after a full day of learning. Alternatively, some students chose a more relaxed evening of cake decorating and homework club.
Tomorrow’s trip to the Cotswold’s Wildlife Park has really caught the student’s attention, hoping to see a wide variety of exciting animals. Stay tuned for updates!
