Here at St Peter’s College in Oxford, we are keenly awaiting the arrival of our first ORA students this summer. As one of the youngest Oxford University colleges, St Peter’s offers fantastic integration between traditional and modern architecture. Its central location provides an excellent opportunity for students to visit as much of Oxford as possible during their short stay with us, and our world-class teaching team will drive for New Perspectives and deepen existing interests in students chosen subject fields. The Film Academy, in particular, will provide an invaluable foundation for students to either begin or enhance their cinematic skills.
After morning lessons, students will be are offered the chance to engage in a broad range of extra-curricular and social activities alongside an array of stimulating excursions. Highlights of the trip will include visits to Warner Brothers Studios for the famous Harry Potter Tour and an afternoon at the Cotswolds Wildlife Park. Mid-session and graduation parties (‘Carnival’ and ‘Wizard’ themed) will enable students to further build existing relationships with their new international friend base.
Students will undoubtedly forge long lasting friendships with their classmates. By both living and studying together students will be able to build real connections with their peers, both academically and personally. Furthermore, these bonds will ensure students feel right at home here at St Peter’s College.
