After an exciting weekend, including the excursion to Kidzania at the Westfield Shopping Centre, it was time for the students to return to the classroom and resume their curriculum. Students took a while to readjust into the routine of lessons but by the end of the morning, the students were back to being the diligent group we know.
The students continue to compliment and enjoy the food at St Mary’s and today was no different; the students filled their boots ahead of an energetic afternoon. The students assembled on the main field read to partake in P.E. and show off their sporting abilities. Counsellors and Junior Deans set up running races and football matches to keep all the students busy and active, enabling them to blow off steam after a busy morning in the classroom.
The ORA quiz night provided a fantastic opportunity for students to show off their understandings of Geography, British History and General Knowledge. The competition was fierce and the winners get to be the first to ride a roller coaster at Chessington World of Adventures later in the week! Tomorrow we welcome in the Science in Schools team to provide an elaborate demonstration of experiments to spark students interest in chemistry.
