Yesterday, after a full day of lessons, students at St Mary’s were treated to a creative crafts workshop with Ela Klein!
The workshop aims to unleash children’s creativity through fun and educational arts and crafts. The students were provided with all of the creative tools needed to create an array of art, and Ela, along with our friendly Counsellors were on hand to encourage the students whilst keeping the atmosphere relaxed and calm. Each workshop has a different theme, and last night’s was calligraphy – for those learning English it was a great an especially great opportunity to put their skills to the test as they created beautiful word-based art.
For those students who opted not to take part in the crafts workshop, there was the opportunity to get active in the sports hall with some Counsellor led interactive activities. The highlight was the egg and spoon race where there was no shortage of friendly competition!
