After all the excitement of excursion day yesterday, the students took some time getting back into the swing of things back here at St Mary’s Ascot. By the end of morning lessons, students had readjusted back into schoolroom life and were knuckling down hard on their curriculum.
After a great lunch in the main dining hall, the students had a crazy afternoon of Frisbee, tennis, football, badminton and basketball. The students rotated around each exercise so students could show off their skills and get the chance to play everything. We appear to have some real athletes here!
After dinner, it was a very relaxed evening of games and films to recharge their batteries after such an exhausting day yesterday. Some of the more energetic and competitive students couldn’t resist a Frisbee rematch against the counsellors and got stuck straight back in to round two. The students also realised that tomorrow is their last full day, and are therefore determined to make the most of it.
Tonight the students will be attending their graduation ceremony, followed by their graduation party. The party will be the last time students are all together and with their friends before departures on Saturday. More updates and photos to follow.
