Counsellors were (pleasantly) surprised yesterday morning to see the full complement of students up bright and early for registration after what had been a very long and action-packed arrivals day. This success set the tone for the day, and lessons got off to a smooth start; students met their teachers, got acquainted with their classmates and made their first forays into their chosen subjects ―Shakespeare’s The Tempest for literature buffs, the rudiments of pulse and respiratory rates for the medical biologists, and the Waterfall Model for those taking on Software and App Development.

After classes and a trip into town for some free time, students headed to the Catz marquee for Quiz Night; teams put their international and interdisciplinary heads together for what ended up being a very close contest!
