After a full morning of lessons, the students of Goodenough College prepare for an afternoon out in London, before hitting the West End for the Walt Disney musical adaptation of, ‘Aladdin’.
Students were understandably excited as they were treated to breath-taking sets, mind blowing special effects with countless vibrant and lavish costumes. A fantastic cast in addition to a live orchestra really brought the magic of Aladdin to life on the West End stage. Students were charmed by moments of mischief from the Genie, voiced over by the late Robin Williams, and fell in love with Princess Jasmine as Aladdin nobly tried to ‘show her the world’.
Students have been in intense preparation for the highlight of the sessions in college activities ‘ORA’s Got Talent’ tomorrow night. Music and singing have been filtering through to Programme Director Chris Hovell’s door during the student’s free time for the past week. Tomorrow night will be show time before they enjoy a ‘Titanic’ themed graduation party in the Large Common Room. More updates to follow!
