After a busy weekend of social activities, the students were rejuvenated and ready for their return to lessons when Monday morning came knocking. At the halfway point of their tuition, the students are certainly starting to feel more prepared for medical and engineering school, with discussions of potential schools and applications fill the corridors.
The evening’s activity was the Goodenough bowling excursion to the local vintage bowling alley. Students teamed up and got ready to compete against their friends and the councellors. Competition became intense as the scores remained close, with no clear leader. The boys are captured above intently surveying the scoreboard, calculating the exact score required to achieve victory. Anna secured a wonderful strike, securing the lead for her team, but was quickly matched by Omar, who responded with a strike of his own. Carla secured the win for her team and prepares to take home the prize. Both teams were extremely humble in victory and defeat and posed for a group photo despite the heated battle.
Tomorrow afternoon the students are treated to the Oracle guest speaker, providing valuable insight into particular fields of expertise. Stay tuned tomorrow for more information.
