We here at Balliol College eagerly await the arrival of ORA’s third cohort of students to visit one of the oldest and most prestigious colleges at the University of Oxford.
Over the coming fortnight, the students staying in Balliol will gain a taste of what life is like in one of the most esteemed colleges not only in Oxford but in the world. Students will work, eat and sleep in the very same halls that have seen three Briti
sh Prime Ministers and five Nobel Laureates.
The students will be led by our world class teaching team, many of whom are professors at the University of Oxford, through morning lessons, before spending their afternoons with a broad array of social and extra-curricular activities. Furthermore, students will be taken out on exciting excursions to visit Windsor Castle, and a trip to the west end to the see the hit musical, ‘42nd Street’. Students will also attend two fantastic balls; one mid-session ‘Narnia’ themed party at Kingson Bagpuize, as well as a ‘Vintage Circus’ themed graduation party at the Balliol JCR.
Students will have free roam over the ancient city of Oxford, being able to explore its narrow cobbled streets at will. They will also forge long lasting and meaningful friendships with their classmates and have the opportunity to meet people from dozens of countries.
