That Friday feeling was in full effect at Catz yesterday, as the students celebrated completing their classes! They concluded their courses in the morning, before a free afternoon to prepare for their big night. It was a wonderful occasion, and one which will stay with the cohort for a long time.
Whilst the British weather didn’t share their sense of joy, with the rain coming down in Oxford, the students didn’t care as they were in party mood from the moment they woke up. A morning of fun, less challenging lessons drew their courses to a close, and the teachers were happy to indulge their happiness after a fortnight of exemplary work.
Soon it was time for the students to get ready, a task which they all took very seriously, as they went off with their friends to make sure they looked their best for the ceremony. Their effort was not in vain either, as everyone marked the occasion by turning out smartly dressed and ready to enjoy the evening!
The ceremony began with a few speeches from the staff, thanking everyone for an exceptional session. There were a few tears, however they were quickly replaced by beaming smiles as the students collected their hard-earned awards.
After this, and a quick stop to pose from some glamorous photos, the cohort then headed to Oxford Town Hall, where they gathered with Balliol and Queen’s and had a great grad party! The students all mixed together well, relishing the chance to socialise together for the last time and revel in their success.
