With graduation fast approaching, our students were filled with excitement and energy yesterday.
In the morning lessons, our Acting and Performance Skills class used their extra buoyancy to add some more fire to their rehearsals. Over the last couple of days, our students have chosen short drama pieces from modern plays to practice in groups and then perform to the whole class on Friday. Everyone was very enthusiastic with their performances, really putting in their all even though it was only a rehearsal, and it was great to see everyone laughing and having fun as they practiced. The class will really be in for a treat when the scenes are performed for real!
In the afternoon, the students had a quick graduation rehearsal to help calm any nerves about what will happen in today’s ceremony. While it certainly removed any worries, it also made our students even more excited for the real thing, and set the tone for a high-energy evening.
Unsurprisingly, sports were the most popular choice after dinner, with rounders and football games being launched outside. The football, as usual, was a great display of skill and friendly competitiveness. Shoutouts go to Marwan for scoring an excellent goal and to Hendrick for his unbelievable goalkeeping which earned him man of the match!
Anybody who wanted to stay inside had plenty to do too, curling up with some snacks for a movie night or a pampering session to relax them before the anticipation of graduation took over completely!
