Yesterday our students really set themselves free creatively, getting stuck into building and creating all day yesterday.
The Leadership and Teambuilding class brought a touch of creativity into their classes in the morning, using a tower-building exercise to team build! The class have been delving into what makes a good team over the last few days, so this was the perfect chance to put all those theories into practice. The students really excelled, making sure to divide the work between themselves equally and utilise the individual strengths of their team members. Clearly the class are more than ready for real-world team activities.
The afternoon was taken up with one of the students last chances to head into Oxford for lunches and souvenirs. Over the last two weeks, the cohort have really fallen in love with the beauty and culture of Oxford and it’ll obviously be hard for some of them to leave on Saturday. Anyone who stayed behind took part in some more ‘icebreaker’ games like Splat, which were all the more fun now our students are firm friends.
The evening was a chance to return to the creative theme of the day. A huge range of art opportunities were on offer for the students, from drawing, painting, and collage-making, to a drama and theatre workshop. It made for an evening filled with creative flair, laughter, and just the right amount of mess.
Anyone not feeling the artistic vibe banded together for some board games, getting quite competitive as everyone tried to make sure they won!
