It was a studious day for those on our 19 + programmes, and as the weekend reared its head, everyone was focused on getting as much work done as possible. This weekend our students will have lots of free time to independently see the city, a welcome break from studying!
Lessons on Friday were very focused and several of our students also benefitted from group tutorials. Those on Global Business, Management and Finance were working hard on their essays for the coming week, and as they whacked away at the keys on their laptops, the level of concentration was unparalleled.
Elsewhere students on International Law in the 21st Century were enjoying a group tutorial, and again, they were incredibly diligent as they prepared for the challenging tasks ahead of them. They discussed at length their essays, deciding the best way to frame their questions and the best laws by which to defend their clients.
Despite a few grey clouds settling over Oxford, Merton was as beautiful as ever as day became evening. Some of the group chose to head into town for a meal together, whilst others remained in college or headed for the Bodleian to continue their studies.
It was a great day for our students, and the weekend promises to be a relaxed affair. With the prospect of a meal out as a whole group on Saturday, everyone headed for bed a little earlier than usual to rest up for a fun weekend.
