Following their exciting trip to Kidzania on Wednesday, students at St Mary’s enjoyed another busy day back in school on Thursday. These students are bursting with energy and it has been fantastic to see their enthusiasm for studying during their stay.
Breakfast was a hive of chatter, as the group helped themselves to a hearty meal to fuel them for another fun-filled day. Our juniors have made such good friends during this session and it has been really brilliant to watch these bonds grow. This weekend many of our students will be leaving St Mary’s to return home, however it seems that they will not let this stop them from staying in contact with one another!
Lessons were active as usual, and as we near the end of the week here, students got to take part in more fun workshops. Slime-making was on the cards for most of our students. It was great to see their fascination at the multi-coloured gunk and they learnt about the properties of solids and liquids.
Following classes, everyone headed out into the grounds to compete in a scavenger hunt around school. The cohort were split into teams and they had to find clues! The whole thing got a little competitive but it was great to see everyone dashing about, trying to solve the different puzzles.
After all the searching and running, everyone was hungry. The group headed to the canteen for a well-deserved dinner. Once they had eaten, the cohort were tuckered out, so it was time for an early night. Campus staff got everyone into bed early to prepare the students for another exciting graduation day on Friday.
