The latest exciting excursion for our St Mary’s students was a trip to the wonderful indoor city at KidZania. The trip allowed them to take on a variety of jobs and test the waters in a fun and safe setting, and even spend their earnings!
After breakfast, the students gathered to get on the bus to London and there was a lot of anticipation in the air as everyone was ready for a great day. All the way to London, the students were chatting about what jobs they wanted to do.
The mock city did not disappoint, as the students chose from an amazing range of careers, including acting, policing and even sportspeople! They were all allowed to immerse themselves in the roles, and the experience was both educational and entertaining.
As well as this, the students were able to earn ‘KidZos’, the currency of KidZania. These could be used to buy all sorts of goodies, or even secured in the KidZania bank to be accessed at any future visits.
It was a fantastic trip, with everyone smiling happily as they filed back onto the coach clutching their hard-earned treats. The students had a brilliant day, but they still had plenty of energy on their return to campus, as they got out into the sunshine and played some games!
