Future endeavours were on the minds of our students at Queen’s on Thursday. With everyone preparing their work for their final assignments and presentations, college was a rather hectic place to be in the morning.
The group headed off to classes to begin their day with energy. Having put so much work into both their homework and classwork over the last two weeks, it really was the final push on Thursday as everyone had their last full day of classes.
Following a busy morning, everyone enjoyed lunch together before setting off to the informative university fair. Students benefitted from listening to the expertise of university representatives, as they heard about student life and the different courses on offer to prospective university students. It was a highly enriching afternoon, as everyone got to grips with the intricacies of the higher education system and learned a little more about their future academic journeys.
Having has such a busy day, it was time for some fun activities towards the end of the afternoon, as everyone chose from an array of pursuits. There was ice skating and badminton for the sportier students, a ghost tour for the brave hearted and a disco for the dancers in the group. These were a good way to relax and socialise before graduation day on Friday.
Everyone was a little exhausted at the end of the day, so it was time for dinner and an early night to prepare for the excitement of the final day in Oxford on Friday.
