At breakfast yesterday morning our students had graduation on the brain! With the ceremony only two days away now, there’s plenty of excited speculation going on between the students about what the ceremony will be like. Once the plates had been emptied, it was time to head to classes.
As they approach the end of the session, lots of students are hard at work on their presentations and projects. Our Acting and Performance class have been particularly busy in Peter’s marquee working on short scenes to act out on Friday morning. Though there’s plenty of hard work going into the scenes, it’s great to see our students able to have fun with their work and the acting is only more energetic for it!
After classes, the students were free to head out into Oxford for some lunch and afternoon activities. By now, the students have all picked favourite spots to eat and were eager for another chance to visit or to try their friends’ picks. For the rest of the afternoon, the students made their way down to the river for another trip on the punts! Though it was a little cloudier for this trip, the students had no less fun trying to keep their balance as they guided the little boats through the water.
Back at St. Peter’s in the evening, some of our cohort worked on keeping a steady hand in an origami workshop while others kicked back with a relaxed movie night.
Tomorrow our students have their final full day of lessons to look forward to and we’re sure anticipation for graduation will only grow!
