Catz defied the rain on Tuesday, as the weather turned typically British. Despite such a grey morning in Oxford, the students were in bright spirits in the morning, and bounded down for breakfast eager to start the new day.
Morning lessons included an active challenge for the Business and Enterprise students, as they got up on their feet and moved around the room, getting tested on various economics terms as they went! This was to help them with the presentations which they will be doing on the subject, and proved very helpful.
There was also a class on genetics, in which the students were giving presentations on various genetic disorders such as Huntington’s Disease. They then fielded questions from the group, as everyone displayed a keen interest in each of the topics covered.
After classes, the students headed off to London to visit the famous theatre district in the West End! They had a chance to watch a show, picking from some fantastic productions, and spent a very enjoyable evening soaking up the culture in the capital.
Overall, in spite of the weather, the students had an excellent day as they made fantastic progress in their classes. They appear to be very well placed to excel in their final assessments, as the projects and presentations come together. The trip to London also proved to be hugely enjoyable and kept everyone smiling into Wednesday!
