The week got off to a good start in Oxford and the sun was shining to welcome our students into the second leg of their academic journey with us at ORA.
Thanks to the sunshine, students were in good spirits and everyone was up bright and early to kicktstart the week. The group ate a delicious breakfast together in their respective colleges, before heading off for classes with the work they had completed over the weekend in their backpacks.
On our 19 + programmes, all of our students have shown incredible dedication to their work and as part of their courses they also have a lot of time to exercise their own independence whilst they are staying in Oxford. This has given them a particularly deep insight into what it means to study in this city, and everyone has enjoyed the relaxed and open atmosphere that welcomes them at Merton and Univ.
Monday saw students preparing for their exciting trips on Tuesday in classes. Students on our Public Speaking for the Modern World and Workplace programme, were exercising their vocal chords to prepare for their workshop, whilst those on our International Law in the 21st Century were thinking of questions to ask during their workshop with the Royal Court of Justice in London.
It was an exciting day of preparations, and all of our students looked forward to a relaxed afternoon once lessons were finished. Everyone then enjoyed free time, and campus was a little quieter than usual as our students explored the city together.
