The second week began with creative flair for students at St Peter’s, and after a busy weekend of activities everyone was keen to get back to their classes on Monday.
The morning got off to its usual start, with informative lessons for the students. As they come closer to the end of their programmes, students are now getting their work ready for their final presentations and assignments, so it is a slightly hectic time for all of our students here in Oxford.
Lunch was enjoyed as a whole group before everyone headed into their final lessons of the day. Then at 15:30, it was time for an activity-filled afternoon! There were several options to choose from as the group were spoiled for choice between; bracelet making, movie night, mug painting and salsa!
Whilst some students used the afternoon to take some free time in Oxford, others chose from the broad array of activities. Mug painting was particularly popular as students used the therapeutic painting process to relax and unwind. Others chose to consolidate their new friendships with a homemade bracelet! Salsa was also a favourite for the afternoon, as the group chose to put their minds to learning the steps and dancing their cares away.
Finally, everyone congregated to enjoy a movie night together. It was a good way for the group to chill out before another busy day of classes and some sightseeing on Tuesday!
