Friday arrived swiftly, and with the prospect of the graduation party in the air, students were excited to start their day. Breakfast was an energetic affair as the students were all eager to discuss their plans for the evening.
The day began with morning lessons, however unlike the usual classes, teachers had treated the students to some fun activities. It really has been an academically challenging two weeks and all of the students have shown great dedication even with some difficult deadlines to meet. So, fun lessons were a welcomed treat for the group.
Following the morning lessons, students gave their thanks to their teachers for inspiring them in their academic journey. Then it was time for lunch together – it was a little sad as this was the final lunch that students would share, and there was plenty of chatter.
Party preparations were then underway as students returned to their rooms to get themselves ready for the big evening. Everyone put a lot of effort into their outfits, and the whole group was dressed smartly for their formal ceremony despite the heat! Before the graduation started there was time for photos in the grounds at Catz.
The ceremony began with a short speech about how much this cohort have impressed all of the campus staff, then it was time for everyone to accept their scrolls. Special awards were offered to those who had shown great effort and achievement in their subject areas. Finally, everyone at Catz joined with students from St Edmund’s for a party. It was fantastic to see everyone chatting and dancing, but sad to see them leave – we wish you all the very best!
