Party fever took hold of our St Mary’s School campus on Friday, as the graduation festivities marked the end of another fantastic week in Ascot! The students ended the week with an awesome celebration, after capping off their lessons in the morning!
Once the ceremonies began, everyone was excited, if a little apprehensive, about collecting their awards. Any nerves evaporated as soon as the students were called up though, as they proudly showed off their work and took the generous applause of the audience.
The students all passed with flying colours, and their achievements tasted all the sweeter with the knowledge that they have come from a week of hard work, but also great fun and new friendships. The harmony among the cohort has been excellent, and has meant that everything has gone smoother than the ORA team could possibly have dreamed it would!
The celebrations didn’t end there, as a divine dinner was laid on to toast the students’ success. Everyone ate appreciatively, enjoying the benefits of their prosperity, and chatted happily away as the good vibes continued.
A disco rounded off the evening, with staff and students alike dancing the night away to some absolute classics! The Macarena proved to be a surprise hit, and had many of the partygoers up on their feet working their way through the routine – how better to spend a Friday evening?
