The end of the session is drawing close in London, and our Imperial students are in celebratory mood as the sunny weather ushers them towards their graduation on Friday. Thursday’s timetable still had to be tackled though, and the students scaled the heights in more ways than one!
A morning programme of classes kept their minds from wandering too far in the wonderful weather. The hand-in dates have also served to focus everyone’s attention on the academic side of things, with all the students keen to enjoy their graduation. The afternoon masterclasses also helped to keep the learning going on the penultimate full day on campus.
Some afternoon free time allowed to students to get out and make the most of the sunshine. Many used the time to do some last minute graduation shopping, as they want to look their best for the big night! Others opted to get a head start on packing, leaving them with more time to enjoy the festivities on Friday.
The evening treat was one to savour, as the students headed to the borough of Southwark to soak up the evening sun. Southwark has a number of attractions, including The Shard, which is an incredible skyscraper overlooking the River Thames.
The students watched the sun set from near the top of the building, and everyone loved the stunning scenery. It was a perfect way to cap off a fine day in London, and the jovial atmosphere will be carried into Friday’s celebrations.
