Our Yale participants reached the zenith of their academic programmes on Thursday, as they presented their work projects. They also had two enlightening enrichment activities, as they visited the Peabody Museum and attended a Neuroscience lecture!
The presentations are the culmination of the work they have done in their classes across the entire fortnight, and their marks will be telling when it comes to graduation on Friday. The participants all performed admirably and brushed off the pressure to deliver their work confidently and with real passion for their topics.
Their reward for coming through the morning in such impressive fashion was a trip to the Peabody Museum, located on the Yale campus. The museum houses a number of amazing exhibits, including dinosaur fossils! The participants found the tour to be very interesting, and they picked up lots of trivia!
They also had a lecture in the evening, given by Nour al-Muhtasib, concerning the subjects of Neuroscience and the synapses of the human brain. The talk was full of insight, and again the participants took a lot away from it.
They finished the day excited, full of anticipation for the celebrations that Friday will bring. Graduation and a party await them, as they aim to end a superb session on a high!
