Wednesday in Scotland was a day of presentations for our St Andrews cohort, as their academic programmes culminated in them showing their work in front of the staff and their fellow students.
The presentations covered a broad range of subjects, from rollercoasters to space missions to global warming. Despite the variety, one thing that everyone’s work had in common was that it was all brilliantly researched and seamlessly presented. The students had delved deep into the fascinating details of their topics, and spoke about them passionately.
As well as this, the Business and Enterprise students pitched their business plans to the group. The plans were meticulously put together, including both SWOT and PESTLE analyses – terms which they became very familiar with in their lessons!
Having done such a tremendous job of their projects, the students had a more relaxed afternoon and evening, as they sought to bask in the success of their work. Some visited The Bell Pettigrew Museum, which is located on campus and offers amazing insight into the animal kingdom through its collection of skeletons and stuffed specimens.
The evening certainly hit the right notes, as the students participated in a fun karaoke evening! They belted out some of their favourite songs in front of an appreciative audience and the activity definitely struck a chord with everyone as there was much laughter and singing along!
