Wednesday was a busy day for all of our students at Catz, as they prepared for their final presentations of their stay here in Cambridge. There was certainly a level of urgency in the air in the morning as students set off to their lessons to make sure they were in their classrooms for an early start.
Most of the classes were occupied by important presentations throughout the day and the campus seemed focused as students concentrated their efforts on doing their very best in their classes. In a Business and Enterprise class, students presented the product that they had designed during their stay. It was particularly impressive to see the amount of thought that had gone into these, with detailed market research being done on the good people of Cambridge.
Once lessons were complete for the day, it was time for a fun afternoon. As it was too hot to go to the park, students headed to the Lockhouse Escape Rooms in Cambridge to complete one of three puzzles; Armageddon, Egyptian Tomb or Secret Agent. This was a fun and challenging way to spend the afternoon as all of our students had their powers of deduction stretched.
Later on in the afternoon, everyone benefitted from a talk about the process of applying to British universities. This was a really helpful talk as it went into more depth about using UCAS, which can often be slightly daunting.
Finally, the day was rounded off with a creative activity – making tie dye t-shirts! Everyone got the paints out to mix crazy colours – but they will have to wait until tomorrow for the big reveal!
