Tuesday was a day of blazing sunshine and tropical temperatures in London – and the students were given every opportunity to make the most of it! As well as spending plenty of time outdoors, the students had an exciting evening excursion.
The sun was already beaming down on the campus at Imperial by the time the students emerged for breakfast, and it put everyone in an even better mood off the back of their chilled out Monday. The common room was even more lively than usual, as everyone wanted to get started with the day.
Morning classes were, as usual, informative and enlightening, and the students were also appreciative of the fact that they were in the classroom for the short part of the day when there were any clouds in the sky! After lunch, and a quick spot of homework for some, everyone headed out into the beautiful weather.
The students whiled away their free time in the afternoon sun, mostly exploring the city and finding nice cool patches of shade to relax in. They then gathered to travel to the West End to have dinner and watch an incredible show! They could choose between Aladdin, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat or The Play That Goes Wrong.
It was a great evening of culture for the students, who had a fantastic time. As the coaches whisked them back to campus, they were all tired but happy after a day in the sun. Wednesday will bring new challenges as they near their deadlines, but everyone certainly knows their lines as they approach the curtain call.
