The atmosphere at Catz yesterday was buzzing as everyone looked forward to their trip to the West End in the afternoon. The morning brought with it the heat and students headed to lessons in the glittering sunshine.
Students on our Cambridge Summer English programme were preparing their final presentations before graduation yesterday, and they have all made group presentations on their favourite Cambridge university graduates, such as Charles Darwin and Isaac Newton. We look forward to seeing what they come up with!
In Medical School Preparation, our students were practising their cranial nerve examinations – something which they found both informative and entertaining. It has been great to see the students on this course develop their practical medical skills and it is a testament to our programmes at ORA that students gain knowledge they don’t get in an ordinary classroom!
Once classes were complete for the day, it was time for their trip to London! Everyone picked up a packed lunch before jumping on the coach with students from St Edmund’s. On arrival, there was free time for students to enjoy the sights of the capital including; Covent Garden, Oxford Street and Soho. Students went shopping and enjoyed eating out before the show began.
The group chose between Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Aladdin and The Play that Goes Wrong. It was clear from the rapturous applause at the end and the amount of chatter and discussion on the coach home that this trip have been a hit!
