On Thursday it was time for the final full day of classes at Yarnton and students were up bright and early to enjoy breakfast and kickstart the day. Campus was a little hectic in the morning as everyone made their way to their last lessons, ready to round off everything they have learnt during their stay here.
Being the last day, many of the morning lessons were spent with students giving their final presentations, so it was a busy start to the day for everyone. All of the teachers seemed very pleased with what the students have produced during their stay and they took some time on the final day to congratulate the whole group for the commitment they have shown throughout their classes.
Lunch was enjoyed as a whole group and the chatter was even more energetic than usual as everyone wanted to make the most of their time left with their international friends. Once lessons were complete for the day, there was a chance for free time in the evening.
The main event of the night was to be a Talent Show followed by Karaoke in the marquee. Here at Yarnton, we saw a huge array of different performances which were all entertaining in their different ways. We commend all those who got involved for showing great confidence with their ability stand up and perform in front of their peers.
It was great to see so many people joining together to compete in the contest – however, it was an everybody wins event in the end. Most of the talents were musical in nature and it was fantastic to see how gifted this cohort were outside of the classroom. It was a great way to round off the final full day and there was excitement in the air for graduation tomorrow which promises to be the perfect end to this session.
