Another hectic week at Queen’s is drawing to close, and there has been no end to the amazing excursions, lessons and activities. Yesterday was the same story, with lessons being followed by a trip to the Fair and a University Life Panel later on.
The students were fast out the gate with lessons once again, determined to make the absolute most of the time they had remaining. Once Lunch came around, the weather had cheered up somewhat: an opportunity seized by the students as they headed outside. Before long, it was time to head to the beautiful campus of St Catherine’s for the University Fair.
The event itself attracted top Universities from all across the UK, each displaying what makes their institution stand out. The students keenly took notes and spoke to various representatives with interest and enthusiasm. There was also a talk conducted by the head of ‘The Complete University Guide’ which had everyone keenly engaged. Much was gained from the trip before heading back to Campus in time for the University Life Panel.
This too had the students asking questions and listening attentively; full of helpful advice and stories regarding life at University, it was a great way to round off the day. As well as this, other students chose to head to Uni Parks for some sports and relaxation. The weather was precarious yesterday, but it was a beautiful evening and a kickabout only seemed correct. Here’s hoping everybody reclaims their energy in time for the big day tomorrow!
