Thursday was a wet day in London – after all, no visit would be complete without some typical British weather! The clouds didn’t rain on the parade though, as the ORA team were quick to ensure that our students still had a fun day at Imperial.
After the usual breakfast and morning chat, lessons went ahead in the same enthusiastic and studious fashion that they have done all week. Staff have been thoroughly impressed with the diligence of all the students, and Thursday’s classes did nothing to temper that.
The afternoon and evening were largely taken up by a fun gathering in the common room, as the students took a break from the usual activities to socialise and spend some down time together.
The Foosball table was especially popular during this free time, as some closely-fought games kicked off. For some, the chance to watch TV was too much to resist, and some of the counsellors were delighted to see the 90’s classic Friends on the screen!
There was also an indoor picnic, as the students enjoyed a very British tradition in traditionally British weather. Friday looks set to be another good day, as the students ease themselves into the middle weekend of the programme off the back of a very fine Thursday.
