Yesterday morning was full of life and excitement at LMH as the students prepared for their last full day of classes! At breakfast, there was a lot of anticipation in the air as students chatted about their fast-approaching graduation ceremony!
As they sat down at their desks, the students tempered their excitement and knuckled down to make the most of their final hours of teaching. In most programmes, the morning consisted of putting the finishing touches to projects and presentations. This was exactly the case for our Introduction to Architecture students, who had a final chance to get their work critiqued by their classmates and teachers before hand-in!
After a spot of lunch, the students had a quick graduation rehearsal, which assailed a lot of our students’ fears about tripping tomorrow!
The highlight of the day, however, was the talent show in the evening! A large number of our students were brave enough to stand up and perform for their peers in a range of acts from violin playing to ballet dancing! It was particularly wonderful to see the Introduction to Medicine class all stand up to perform a medical parody of ‘I Want It That Way’ together, demonstrating just how close they’ve become over the course of the session!
No matter what their act, everyone performed amazingly so it was only fitting that it was an ‘everybody wins’ talent show. Well done to all our performers!
With the excitement of the evening still fresh and the prospect of an even more exciting day tomorrow, the students went off to bed filled with happiness and anticipation!
