Yesterday was another great one at Univ as the students braced for the upcoming Finals, and there was even time for a bit of punting on the river in between.
The day began characteristically early, and the students were keen to cram as much as they could before their knowledge was to be tested. It was a gloriously sunny one at Univ in spite of recent weather warnings, and there was a great deal to be getting on with outside later on as well.
Lessons concluded by Midday; it has been a particularly challenging week for everyone, with Excursions and Enrichment sessions making up a large portion of the curriculum, and yesterday was no different. The students were given a series of guest speakers throughout the afternoon, covering everything from Medicine to Engineering. It was a great afternoon and attendance was high, with students clearly eager to make the most of the course as we headed into mid-week.
There is a great deal still to learn on the course in the coming days, but in the meantime, it was time for everybody to lay back and relax. That was, of course, unless you happened to be one of the students who was punting! A huge hit with students of all ages this year, punting on the river is not for the faint of heart. Despite this, the students held their nerve and there were no reported fall-ins.
Today brings just as much action, with as many lessons as we can squeeze in before graduation!
