Classes at Hugh’s were a busy affair yesterday. All our students are busily working away at their final projects, determined to make them as good as they can possibly be before the deadline on Friday.
Those on our Introduction to Law programme got to try out all the skills they’ve been acquiring over the programme in a moot court! All our students argued strongly and precisely and the judge had a hard time choosing which way to rule!
Once classes were over for the day, our students got the chance to head into Oxford for some free time. It seems news of the mini golf course has spread amongst the students, and lots of the cohort rushed off to try and get a hole in one!
In the evening, our students had a whole host of options to choose from! Some wanted to continue with their work from the morning and spent their time in homework club. Others were excited to expand their historical knowledge and jumped at the chance to participate in a hieroglyphics enrichment workshop!
The bravest amongst our students embarked on an evening Ghost Tour of Oxford with Queens College! Guided by Bill Spectre, the tour contained flashy props and illusions, getting plenty of gasps and shrieks out of the students. Everyone was spellbound as they listened to the stories, and a few students kept glancing over their shoulders as they made their way through the city streets.
With a city as old as Oxford, it’s not surprising there are a few bizarre stories to entice ghost hunters – let’s hope nobody stays up late looking for ghosts!
