Tuesday was another exceptionally sunny one at St Catherine’s as the students completed a successful set of lessons before preparing to head out in the evening.
Lessons came and went without a hitch. One class studied economic problems in different countries, with particular reference to Venezuela. There was even a short documentary to explain the case study in more detail. Elsewhere, the students were being instructed in effective styles of management, emphasising the fundamentals such as how to present yourself appropriately.
Once lessons had wrapped up, students got ready to head to London for the afternoon. Perhaps the second-greatest City in the world (just behind Oxford) London is also home to the iconic West End, one of the most renowned places in the world of theatre. Before the fun truly kicked off, everyone was given two hours to explore the area, buy souvenirs or simply take in the sights.
Later on, the students could choose to watch one of four plays: Waitress, A Comedy About a Bank Robbery, Aladdin and Come From Away. The students all chose something that suited their tastes and everyone seemed to have a great night. Those who saw Waitress even said it was the best musical they’d ever seen! It was great to get everyone out to London and so pleasing to know that they had a great time.
In the evening, students made it back to Catz with time to spare, and there was even time to unwind after such a long day!
