Yesterday was another sunny one as Queen’s got back to lessons and embarked on a journey to the West End!
Lessons came and went, and the students seemed eager to get down to business as always. Following a packed day yesterday, they were thankful for some respite yesterday afternoon as they made their way to London’s incredible West End. From the stunning and historic theatres to the bustling atmosphere, it’s a part of London that’s incredibly exciting to be a part of.
The students were offered a choice between one of four plays: The Comedy About a Bank Robbery, Aladdin, Come From Away and Waitress. There was truly a genre for everybody, and the students all loved the opportunity to relax and be entertained after a solid timetable of lessons. Each production was sensationally performed and executed, not to mention holding plenty of memorable moments.
The students also had over three hours to explore London and go shopping. London has so much to discover, and everyone made a commendable effort in the time they had. One student bought so many clothes that they were unable to close their suitcase! There was also time enough to spend looking around the West End itself and take in the sights.
Today, afternoon lessons resume as usual, followed by another Enrichment Session later on. Graduation is just around the corner after all! In the evening however, the students will have their nerve tested like never before: it’s time for the Ghost Tour!
