Thursday morning was bright at Queen’s College. Lessons were the order of the morning and everyone seemed to know exactly where they were going, which was great to see. As studies resumed, there were lots of impressive displays of what the students had learned too.
After lessons, students returned to the beautiful City of Oxford for a Scavenger Hunt. This was a great way not only to explore the city but for the students to get to know one-another better; new friendships were forged as students went through the city trying to deduce locations based on subtle clues. It also ended up putting their knowledge of the town to the test as they relied on what they had already learnt to help inform their guesswork.
Due to popular demand, the Punting Session from yesterday made its return too! The students clearly loved the experience and were keen to give it another go. It was a great day for it once again, so the team were more than happy to oblige. At this rate, some students might have a career on the river!
Another long day wound down in the evening with a Debate Workshop, where students were given useful advice for how to conduct a successful debating strategy. Ahead of the Great Debate, students were keen to pick up as many tips and tricks as they could.
Meanwhile, Friday has arrived, and there’s a great atmosphere on Campus as the weekend gets closer, and with it, the Great Debate!
