Our St Andrews programme may be coming to a close, but the first cohort of the summer certainly hasn’t let up in their quest for knowledge. Thursday was the last day on normal timetable for our students, as Friday will be dedicated to graduation and the celebrations that go along with it.
This meant that the ORA team had a chance to engage some of the students in a fantastic practical exercise for one final time, and it’s fair to say it was a rousing success!
The exercise was a problem-solving challenge for students on the Business & Enterprise and Law Preparation programmes. They were set a series of puzzles from their respective fields and this required them to join forces in order to overcome the tasks.
The teamwork was great and the students were able to come up with some innovative and very well-considered solutions in their groups. As well as this, they had great fun working together and even played around with a judge’s wig, which prompted much laughter!
The students’ spirits were raised even more in the evening, with another great movie night and a chance to spend some time chatting and joking with friends. Friday’s graduation is set to be a great occasion, and the students certainly have much to celebrate.
