Thursday saw the last full day of lessons here in Cambridge, as our students prepared their final assignments before graduation. Throughout their lessons, it has been brilliant to see their level of engagement, and although the group are certainly pleased to complete their last pieces of work, they are also incredibly grateful for having learnt so much during their stay.
After completing their lessons for the day, everyone prepared for another busy afternoon. Whilst some of the students went off to grab their cameras as they headed out for cultural pursuits, others got changed into sports gear to visit the Cambridge Escape Rooms.
A small group chose to enjoy a leisurely afternoon of punting. This was a great way to round off their stay in Cambridge, by seeing the beautiful sights whilst riding down the River Cam. The others put their powers of deduction to the test to complete the complex puzzles and challenges in the Escape Rooms. Fortunately, they managed to finish just in time!
When they returned to college it was time to get everyone’s blood pumping with an active Zumba class. Once everyone had cooled off a little, students had the chance to practise as mixologists, as there was a class on making the best mocktails! This was a great activity and everyone got involved to shake up some delicious fruity drinks.
The busy day was rounded off with a casino night, where the students took one another on in a competitive game of poker! Then it was time for everyone to head to bed, to rest up for a busy day on Friday with the prospect of graduation looming!
