If any of our Yale participants were feeling blue at the prospect of leaving this weekend, they didn’t show it on Thursday as they launched themselves into another enriching day in New Haven.
Thursday was the last day of academic sessions, and that meant a last set of presentations for some of the participants. Everyone was keen to know their marks, but they were unable to persuade the staff to reveal them – despite their best efforts!
After their lessons, and lunch on campus, the participants had a choice of two activities. One of the choices on offer was a trip to the Peabody Museum of Natural History, which is located on the university campus and houses a famous collection of dinosaur fossils.
The other activity was a lecture and lab tour by Dr. Margaret, who showed the participants around and spoke to them about animal behaviour and lab etiquette, making it a very informative afternoon.
In the evening, the participants mainly divided themselves between going shopping and catching up on some sleep, with Friday’s graduation looming large. The excitement for the festivities is high, and the whole group is full of anticipation ahead of the thrilling finale!
