As their programme is now fully underway, students are beginning to relax into their schedules more and more each day. It was a mild morning on Thursday, and as the sun rose over Yarnton, students headed into the Long Gallery for their breakfast.
After fuelling themselves for the day, it was time for lessons to begin and after a particularly studious afternoon on Wednesday, the students enjoyed some more interactive and dynamic classes, as their teachers begin to challenge them to more difficult questions.
Our Global Leadership programme which is offered to students aged 16 – 18, has been an especially popular choice for this cohort. With so many young international leaders of the future, the classes have got off to a confident start and it’s great to see lively discussion, as well as a group of students who are so passionate about changing the world!
After lunch, students came to a universal consensus and decided to take advantage of the excellent weather to head into the city centre for some sightseeing and shopping. This group have become really interested in engaging with experiencing Oxford and all that it has to offer. Some of our students even enjoyed a lavish meal out in town after a busy afternoon of walking the city streets.
For this reason, the campus was uncharacteristically quiet throughout the afternoon as everyone enjoyed their free time. However, before the day was done, the whole group returned promptly to share stories about their trips and all of the wonderful things they had discovered in this vast city!
