It was as busy as ever yesterday at Catz as the students enjoyed another fun-filled schedule of classes, activities and events. The morning got off to a good start with a lively breakfast enjoyed in the dining hall. The sun was just beginning to burn through the clouds, as the group set of for their morning classes.
Those studying on our Computer Science programme had to give a presentation about their findings so far in their classes. The whole group impressed their teacher, Edoardo, with their confidence. During Law School Preparation, a couple of students chose to make up a rap to try to help them to memorise some of the complex information they have learnt during their stay! This creative approach to learning was relished and rewarded by teacher, Natascha.
When lessons finished, all of the students headed over to the Backs to enjoy a picnic in the sunshine. It was great to see the group socialising as a whole, and the fact that all of the students were laughing and chatting is a testament to how well ORA’s programmes bring talented, young individuals together.
Once everyone had finished their picnic, it was time for some sports! The group mainly chose to honour the British tradition and play a competitive game of rugby. Those who preferred non-contact sports, chose frisbee or Twister, with some of the group preferring to relax and enjoy the heat of the sun as they acted as spectators to the matches.
Following the competitive rugby, a few students decided to kick a football around for a little bit. Unfortunately, the ball ended up in a stream and the group were unable to get it back! Whoops!
