Another hot day in London meant that our students were keen to spend as much time as possible outdoors on Wednesday. Having cleared many of the academic hurdles in their programmes, everyone was keen to enjoy the delights of Kensington.
A return to Hyde Park allowed those students with football on their minds to exercise their competitive spirits with a kickabout game – there’s no off-season for some people!
The students also looked around the Royal Albert Hall, which has hosted performances by many of the world’s finest entertainers ever since it opened in 1871. In particular, the Hall is associated with hosting the Proms, a season of classical music and other culture held annually in the UK.
In the evening, the students had a talk on the process of choosing and applying to UK Universities. This talk was very useful and helped to answer any nagging questions anyone might have had.
As a reward for everyone working so hard and behaving so maturely, the day was ended with a trip to grab some delicious ice creams!
